The active vibration control performance can be 3 to 4 times higher than that of the passive type. In terms of space, the same performance as the passive can be achieved in a smaller space.

Active Mechanisms

The active vibration damping device is a system that captures the vibration information of the building into a sensor. The servo motor then drives the weight based on a signal that is controlled in the opposite direction of the vibration that the building receives, reducing the vibration.

Outline of traffic vibration disturbance in buildings

Buildings located near highways and elevated roads are prone to traffic vibration disturbances due to vehicle travel. This is because the vibration on the road propagates through the ground and amplifies the vibration in the horizontal natural period of the building. For this reason, even if you don't feel any vibration in a vacant lot, when you build a building, you will feel the rolling motion gradually increase as you go upstairs.

ωAD-H/ω2 Features

Although the damping effect varies depending on the vibration properties, a reduction effect of 1/3 to 1/4 can be expected. In addition, the control system, which is the heart of the system, is equipped with a high-performance compact active controller, which minimizes the mounting space and can be installed in existing buildings.

Mechanical Vibrational Measures

Vibrations from the production equipment cause vertical floor vibration problems. In some cases, the effect of equipment anti-vibration measures may not be sufficiently attainable. Work environments have been improved by suppressing the vertical vibration of floors with ωAD.

When the rotation speed of the production equipment is constantly variable, the ωAD-120V can support frequency tracking, which exerts a damping effect on the variable-forced vibration frequency.

Movements carried out in groups often vibrate more than expected, which can cause obstacles not only on the adjacent floors but also unexpectedly. It is often said that it is difficult for passive vibration control devices to deal with aerobic movements, because it's composed of the rhythmic jumps of dozens of people.

ωAD-V Features

This resonance system was constructed by supporting the operating mass with a metal coil spring. The result is increased efficiency and miniaturization.
For the drive system, we adopted the AC servo motor + ball screw system.

ωAD-V Mechanisms

The mechanisms of ωAD-V are basically the same as ωAD-H. The AD-H type is a horizontal drive, while the AD-V type is a vertical drive.
